Integration is reinforced and underlined by a double-height portico that provides a strong interior-exterior link, and by the flooring of the open space, whose design penetrates the interior of the building.
The architectural style lends the building an urban character and it is hardly incidental that the choice of materials for the building’s external covering fell on stone, a symbol of endurance and solidity.
The building lies along the line of the road with a diagonal cut on the north west side that extends the space opening to the south in the direction of the previously existing features, in anticipation of their conversion in the future. A large glass surface has been incorporated to make the construction lighter and open on the side facing the square.
At night, the glazed surface is transformed into a beacon illuminating the town and a light-filled backdrop for the square.
